§ 6-10. License framed, posted.

  • Licenses for the sale of alcohol beverages shall be enclosed in a frame having a transparent front from which the license or permit may be clearly read. All licenses issued pursuant to this ordinance shall be posted while in force in a conspicuous place in the room or kept where alcohol beverages are kept for sale. It is unlawful for any person to post such license or permit, or be permitted to post such, upon premises other than those mentioned in the application, or knowingly to deface or destroy such license or permit or to remove such without consent of the licensee or permit holder. Whenever a license or permit is lost or destroyed without fault on the part of the holder or his agent or employee, a duplicate in lieu thereof under the original application shall be issued by the village clerk on satisfying himself as to the facts, upon the payment of a fee of $1.00.
