§ 42-41. Shooting of projectiles prohibited.

  • (a)

    [Prohibition.] No person by use of a contrivance or device, or otherwise in any manner, shall throw, propel, send forth or shoot any missile, projectile or object toward or in the direction of a person, watercraft or other property.

    (b)

    Exceptions. The provisions of subsection (a) and section 42-42 shall be waived to allow certain individuals, approved by the property owner and the village, to hunt deer that the village has determined to be a nuisance located on a specific property. This waiver shall be granted through the use of a special permit issued by the village board.

    (c)

    Application. An application for the special deer hunting permit shall be filed on a form prescribed by the village.
