§ 42-5. Mobile homes; occupancy prohibited.

  • (a)

    No person shall keep, maintain, or place any trailer or mobile home, manufactured home or dwelling upon a lot, piece or parcel of ground within the village at any time when such trailer or mobile home, manufactured home or dwelling is occupied or available for occupancy, provided an unoccupied trailer or mobile home, manufactured home or dwelling may be parked within the village in accordance with chapter 74 for not to exceed 24 hours.

    (b)

    This section shall not prevent the placing of a trailer or mobile home, manufactured home or dwelling upon any premises in the commercial district in the village when such trailers or mobile homes, manufactured homes or dwellings are placed on the premises solely for the purpose of display or sale and are not actually in use or occupied or available for use and occupancy.
