§ 2-63. Lakefront and harbor committee.

The lakefront and harbor committee shall:

(1)

Formulate and recommend to the village board policy, rules, regulations and ordinances for the maintenance and regulation of lake use activities and lakeshore properties (excluding the village beach area located above the high-water mark as delineated by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources) within the village, such as boat launch ramps, buoys, shore stations, piers, boat slips, all designated mooring areas located within the village and parking facilities for boat and trailer parking, and any other related lake or lakeshore activities.

(2)

Exercise supervision over all personnel engaged in lake use activities with respect to lakeshore properties (excluding the village beach area located above the high-water mark as delineated by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources) boat launch ramps, buoys, shore stations, piers, boat slips, all designated mooring areas located within the village and parking facilities for boat and trailer parking, and any other related lake or lakeshore activities.

(3)

Direct and coordinate the maintenance of village lakeshore properties, boat launch ramps, buoys, shore stations, piers, boat slips, all village designated mooring areas located adjacent to and abutting village-owned properties and parking facilities maintained by the village for boat and trailer parking, and any other related lake or lakeshore property or equipment.
